Ingredients
2 tablespoons Roberts Butter
8 ounces Cheddar cheese, grated
8 slices bacon, cooked and finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon paprika
salt and pepper to taste
2 Roberts Eggs
36 toast rounds
Preparation
Mix first 7 ingredients together well; refrigerate. When ready to serve, spread on toast rounds and brown under broiler.
Yield: 3 dozen
For best results with canapes, spread bases with topping just before serving. Canapes prepared too far in advance can dry out and lose their appeal.
